Maresfield Lawn Tennis Club is actively participating in LTA's Club Vision programme to encourage more youngsters to take up tennis. (visit www.LTA.org.uk for more information)

Le Tennis aims to offer not only top quality coaching but also plenty of tournaments for all levels.  There are several fun tournaments with buffet each year (see below) for all intermediate players.  These tournaments have been a great success with all the children mixing in.

This past year has been a good year for the juniors.  Le Tennis has taken on two new schools in Uckfield and now has Orange and Red Performance Squads (ages 4-8).  The Green mini tennis is doing very well too.  Le Tennis took some of the juniors to the ITS Centre in Barcelona which was a great success.  It was also hard work with 6 hours of training every day! 

 The Junior Girls have had a very good year, Jane Lavender and Kyria Dunford in particular.  Jane Lavender was Runner Up in the County Closed Championships, and reached the National Finals schools competition.  She was also been awarded the Sussex Sportsmanship Award.  Kyria Dunford also did well in the County Closed and the Postal Box.  She reached the Nationals Quarter Finals, beating the national number 4 and 8 on the way.  She played in the Finals of the Telegraph Competition which was televised.  The boys played well also and against stiff competition. 

This year Le Tennis will be running the usual Easter and Summer camps as well as Junior Buffet Tournaments, Superstar events and Matchplay days.
