About our club
Courts
There are five Macadam courts, four of which are floodlit. All courts were refurbished in 2008 and offer year-round competitive and social tennis opportunities. Courts are bookable by members outside the regular club and training sessions. We also have two mini-courts and a practice wall to introduce juniors to the game and allow members to hone their game.
Club sessions
Club sessions are open to all members:
Sunday 2 – 4pm; Wednesday 6 – 8pm;
Thursday 10 am – Midday
Competitive play
The club has Men's and Ladies' teams entered in the Sussex League, a team in the Horam League and Mixed and Ladies' teams in The Weald League. Club tournaments are held throughout the year including finals day in July.
Juniors
MLTC is an LTA nationally recognised Performance Club, achieving the highly prized Clubmark status in 2008. This is largely due the success of its juniors under the excellent guidance and coaching by Le Tennis and head coach Tim Cottingham.
Coaching
Tim, Phil, Dan and Chris offer a full programme of coaching including group sessions for adults and juniors as well as for individuals. There are tennis camps and competitions for juniors.
